PLAYTIME at Sapperton C of E Primary School just got a whole lot more exciting.
An adventure playground has just opened at the school which has been part funded through dedicated fundraising efforts of pupils through their young apprentice scheme.
The pupils raised £1000 by making as much profit as they can from their entrepreneurial ideas, with a budget of just £5.
The parish council gave a further £1000 towards the playground and a further £1000 was raised via the Cotswold Highland Games, an annual fundraising event held at the school in the summer.
DawnThomas, head of the school, said: “The children worked really hard during the junior apprentice this year and were fully engaged in their money making schemes. They were determined to raise enough to buy at least one piece of equipment outright and they did it.”
