POLICE have released CCTV images associated with an assault and an attempted robbery at a store in Kingsway, Quedgeley, on Tuesday evening.

This incident involved a man who entered the store, struck a member of staff with a metal implement and demanded money from the till. No money was taken.

The male suspect then fled the scene on foot in the direction of the estate.

The man is described as being white, about 5’ 2” tall, 18 – 19 years old, with dark or brown untidy hair.

He was believed to be wearing a blue jumper, dark or navy blue sweatshirt with blue writing, grey joggers, dark or black trainers with no markings, and carrying a black holdall.

Anyone with any information about the incident, or who recognises the male in the attached images,  is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting Incident Number 464 of November 18.
