A FIXED penalty for careless driving or speeding is issued in the South West every seven minutes
according to data released by road safety charity Brake.
Brake released these figures to mark the start of a campaign calling on all road users to look out for each other, adding that 190 people were killed and 1,795 seriously injured last year in the South West.
Brake has released figures showing how many fixed penalty notices were issued by postcode area last year. See the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire stats below.
The figures relate to the home address of the offender, not the location where the offence occured.
