A MAN and a youth have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in connection with a number of incidents in Stroud overnight.
In the evening of Wednesday, April 23, a statue was thrown through a car windscreen in Woodlands Close.
Shortly before midnight, all the windows of a Ford Transit were reported smashed in Folly Lane.
Also overnight, six vehicles were attacked in Summer Street, and the windows of three of them smashed.
In separate incidents, house windows were smashed in Stanton Road and Hillcrest Road.
The two men who were arrested are 27 and 18, from Stroud. They remain in police custody pending further enquries.
Officers investigating the crimes are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who lives in the area that hasn’t reported damage to their car from the weekend, to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 43 of April 24.
