Fire crews called to car collision in the village of Barnsley near Cirencester
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car crash close to the village of Barnsley, near Cirencester on Sunday afternoon.
The Fire Brigade received a call from a passing motorist at around 4.45pm to say that a vehicle had been involved in a collision.
The driver of the vehicle was injured but released before the arrival of the fire brigade.
One engine from Cirencester Fire Station attended with crews making the vehicle safe by disconnecting the car's battery.
Firefighters were at the scene for around 20 minutes.
