A FOOT bridge was set alight in Cashes Green, Stroud and is the second time the bridge has been targeted in six months.
The bridge was set alight between midnight on Sunday, September 1 and 5.40pm on Monday, September 2 at a nature reserve just off Hyatt Road.
Offenders have set fire to a five metre stretch of walkway made of recycled material. The damage is believed to cost in the region of £3,000 to repair.
This is the second time that the walkway has been targeted. Around £6,000 worth of damage was caused when the bridge was set alight back in April.
