Officers are relaunching their appeal to find a man they want to speak to in connection with a large number of canal boat burglaries and other crimes.
Thirty nine year old Allan Campbell, of no fixed abode, is being hunted by officers in connection with 24 offences in Wiltshire including both burglary and theft from narrow boats.
He is described as white, 6’2 tall and of proportionate build with numerous tattoos on his arms, hands, chest and back.
A previous appeal was issued in April this year but did not find his whereabouts.
His last known address was in Cirencester in Gloucestershire but he was believed to have also been spending time in Warwickshire.
His details have been circulated on the Police National Computer but it is believed he could be out of the country at present as enquiries have revealed no recent financial activity on known accounts.
Police from other forces including Avon & Somerset, Lancashire, Devon & Cornwall and Gloucestershire are also keen to speak to Mr Campbell in relation to a number of offences including theft, burglary and fraud.
Anyone with any information on Mr Campbell’s whereabouts is asked to contact DC Nick Mackian on 101.
Alternatively people can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if they wish.
