CROOKS fled after being disturbed as they tried to break into a garage in Kemble last night.
Police are appealing for information after the attempted burglary of a garage at a house in Kemble at around 9pm yesterday in Station Road.
Two men were seen by a neighbour walking from the railway bridge towards the house and up to the garage door. They were disturbed by a train arriving at the station and passengers disembarking.
The two men walked back to the station where they were spotted getting into a white Ford Transit Connect van and driving off.
Both men were described as being white and in their mid-20s. One was slim and the other of medium build. One was wearing a hoody and the other had shaved sides to his head.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 380 of March 4.
