Northleach priest Nick Fisher moves to neighbouring Windrush parish

A NEW priest has taken up residence in the north Cotswolds.

Nick Fisher, former associate priest at the church of St Peter and St Paul at Northleach, has become the curate of the benefice of Windrush.

He is replacing Rev David Ackerman – who recently moved to London – at the benefice, which covers Sherbourne, Windrush and the Barringtons. Mr Fisher said he was pleased to be taking up the role.

“He’s a hard act to follow but I look forward to building up links with the community,” he said.

“Being in Northleach for the past four years has been very good and I’m really looking forward to carrying on my service to the community.”
