Cirencester man accused of meat and bedding thefts

A CIRENCESTER man has been arrested for allegedly stealing hundreds of pounds worth of meat and bedding.

John Goscombe, of Bowly Road, reportedly stole £170 worth of meat from Marks and Spencer, Dyer Street, on January 25, and £160 worth of bedding from Store Twenty One, Farrell Street, Cirencester.

The 38-year-old was charged with both thefts and appeared at a remand hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on January 30.
