Overfilled wheelie bins will not be emptied warn Cotswold District Council
10:30am Saturday 2nd February 2013 in Cotswolds news By Laura Shack
DO NOT overfill wheelie bins or they will not be emptied – that is the warning from Cotswold District Council to residents.
After around one month of non-collections due to weather conditions, waste is piling high across the Cotswolds.
Next week, the first full collections will be carried out by Ubico in the south of the district.
But residents have been warned that if wheelie bin lids are not firmly down, or if bags are placed on top, operatives will not be able to remove the waste.
Additional waste bags will be collected if they are placed on the ground alongside wheelie bins or beige refuse sacks.
Any queries can be directed to the CDC waste hotline on 01285 623123.

Firstly the area we share a Chief exec has all their collections (West Oxon) by a different contractor. That same Contractor operated the Foss Cross tip for GCC and was open!!!!!
Then they issue meaninless dicktats to residents on how to deal with rubbish after they have neglected in their obligation to make nay effort to collect bins during inclement weather.
I have voted blue all my life, but this North Cotswold Cartel that have the running powers of the CDC are beyond the pale, be it parking or refuse they have proved themselves to be wholy unsuited to any form of public office. Their inherent hatred of Cirencester and its residents is also becoming increasingly transparrent.
As for its Alleged support for the Armed Forces, do not even get me going on that one.
