POLICE have appealed for information in the hunt for a “dangerous” wanted man from Poole.

Lee Ivan James Hogben, 29, has breached his licence conditions and has been ordered to return to prison.

He was released on Friday January 11 under the condition that he stayed in the Somerset area.

However, he failed to abide by this and an order has been issued for him to return to prison.

He is described as white, around six feet tall, of broad build and has short, cropped brown hair gelled in a side parting.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue sports type jacket, dark trousers and was carrying a black sports bag.

It is believed he is likely to be in the Poole area.

Detective Inspector Neil Philips of Dorset police’s offender management unit said officers were searching for him and were following a number of lines of inquiry.

“Hogben should not be approached under any circumstance if seen as he is considered dangerous,” he said.

Anyone who sees Hogben should dial 999 immediately and anyone with information should call police on 101.
