Police are continuing to search for Frank Stephens who was last seen at around 10am on Wednesday January 2, 2013 when he left his home in Vauxhall Road, Gloucester
The mother of a missing Gloucestershire man has appealed for him to call home.
Police are continuing to search for Frank Stephens who was last seen at around 10am on Wednesday January 2, 2013 when he left his home in Vauxhall Road, Gloucester.
The 29-year-old, who is known as Francis, is described as a white man, around 6ft 1inches tall with a slim build and short blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black waterproof puffer jacket which has a small Puma logo on the front, blue jeans and white trainers.
Officers are extremely concerned for his welfare as it is out of character for Frank not to make contact with friends or family.
Frank's mother Fiona appealed directly to her son: “If you’re able to contact us please do it. We've started an appeal on Facebook so you can look on there if you don’t know the numbers.
“It doesn’t matter what you’ve done we just want you to let us know you’re safe and tell us how you’re feeling.”
Sergeant Karl Price said: “Our officers have spoken to family and friends of Frank and today we’ll be handing out leaflets to people in the centre of Gloucester to try and jog people’s memories.
“Frank has family connections in Dumbarton so we have also been making inquiries there.
“If anyone has seen Frank or has any information that could help find him they should call police immediately on 101, quoting incident 418 of January 3.”
