A UNIQUE store has reopened its doors to the delight of customers in Cirencester.

The return of Willow on Cricklade Street has been welcomed by customers old and new according to owner Lizzie Ussher, who closed the former Black Jack Street business around five years ago.

“We’ve just had overwhelmingly incredible feedback from people,” she said. “I’m hoping we’ve brought a little colour to Cirencester.

“We’re not a coffee shop or a phone shop, we’re an independent retailer and something completely off the radar compared with other gift shops.”

The store stocks an eclectic mix of global gifts, handmade wrapping paper, scented candles, self-help books and clothing brand Retro Kitten, created by Lizzie’s 16-year-old daughter Katy.

Lizzie added she wanted to create more links between businesses on Cricklade Street to make the road more of feature shopping area in the town.

She said: “I’m hoping we can work together in future and organise street festivals and fun events.”
