Cirencester teenager accused of raiding Swindon home armed with toy gun

A TEENAGER from Cirencester has been remanded in custody accused of being in a gang who raided a house while armed with a toy gun.

Barry Bramble, 18, Rowell Bramble, 24, and a 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, all face a charge of aggravated burglary.

They are charged with going to a house in Alfred Street, Swindon, on Sunday, September 9, armed with the toy gun with the intent to steal or commit grievous bodily harm.

No charges were formally put to the trio and they did not enter any pleas during the brief hearing at Swindon crown court.

Judge Euan Ambrose adjourned the case to Friday January 4 when they are to indicate whether they are guilty or not.

He remanded Barry, 18, of Millennium Way, Cirencester, and 24-year-old Rowell, of no fixed abode, into custody.

The youngest defendant, who is from East London, was released on conditional bail.
