Cirencester Chamber of Commerce's Business Awards - voting still open
2:53pm Tuesday 29th March 2011 in News By Andrea Glennon
THE Standard is urging people in Cirencester to vote for their customer service stars.
As part of Cirencester Chamber of Commerce's Business Awards, launched last month, the Standard is sponsoring the People's Choice Customer Service award.
You can nominate the person you feel is worthy of the award by filling in the application form below.
At the awards launch Jonathan Davies, CCOC president, told an audience of prominent business people in the town that there was a host of categories, including Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Hospitality Provider of the Year, the Innovation Award and the Marketing and Public Relations Campaign of the Year.
The awards will be judged by a panel of leading business experts in the town while the Standard's customer service award and another award which will single out one individual as Cirencester's 'ambassador', will be based solely on the public vote.
Mr Davies said: "The reason for the business awards is to celebrate, promote and develop all that is good about Cirencester. I don't think we do that enough.
"We also want to promote Cirencester as a place to do business. That's what's at the heart of these awards."
The closing date for entries is Friday, April 8. The winners will be announced at an awards dinner at the Royal Agricultural College on Friday, May 20.
