Dog rescued from rabbit burrow by firefighters in Moreton-in-Marsh

A TRAPPED dog was saved from a rabbit burrow in Moreton-in-Marsh by firefighters.

The small dog disappeared down the rabbit burrow near London Road while on a walk with its female owner yesterday, at around 5.45pm.

After an hour of waiting for the dog to re-appear, the distraught owner called emergency services.

A fire crew from Moreton-in-Marsh station attended and quickly rescued the unharmed animal before returning the burrow to its original condition.
