Older people in the Cotswolds invited to find out about support available at Cotswold District Council's Cirencester offices

FAMILIES in the Cotswolds are invited to find out what services are available to local people at an event at Cotswold District Council’s Cirencester offices tomorrow (Friday).
A number of organisations providing services to older people will be on hand at the event at the Trinity Road offices from 11am to 2pm.
Organisations providing services to older people, including therapautical exercise specialists, will be on hand to demonstrate what they offer, along with a range of information.
CDC’s healthy communities officer Sarah Clifton-Gould said the event was an excellent opportunity for families to find out about the range of services available to help older people.
“Programmes such as prescribed exercise are really making a difference - they encourage older people to live healthier lives and also enable them to make new friends,” she said.
