Multi vehicle collision on M5 northbound

A MULTI vehicle collision left victims trapped in their cars on the M5 motorway this afternoon.
The crash took place on the northbound carriageway between junctions 11a and 12 at 3.49pm.
Fire crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident by Great Western Ambulance.
On arrival at the scene, five fire fighters from Gloucester North confirmed that all drivers and passengers had been released. The motorway was cleared within 55 minutes.
