Bourton-on-the-Water Parish council have given the village's Visitor Information Centre a grant of £2,598

THE future of the under-threat Visitor Information Centre in Bourton-on-the-Water may have been secured following a grant from the Parish Council.
Cotswold District Council is due to review its funding agreements with VICs across the county at next month’s council meeting, prompting concerns the centres could be forced to close if grants are withdrawn.
Although Bourton-on-the-Water VIC is one of the centres under threat, at a recent meeting of Bourton Parish Council a grant of £2,598, payable in the next financial year, was awarded to the centre to help keep it running.
