Rural hellraisers raise a lot of cash for charity

MALMESBURY Young Farmers handed over a total of £3,000 to local charities this year.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance, the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and PROPS, which provides support for disabled youngsters, were each given £1,000 thanks to the success of a series of events including the Badminton Blowout back in the spring and the Harvest Hellraiser.

Tom Clark handed over the chairman’s role to Laura Bishop at the annual meeting last week and the group pledged to continue raising cash for good causes.
