A SEARCH has been launched for the Cotswold’s best cake recipes.
Cheltenham-based care provider Home Instead, which proves home care to older people across the county including several in Cirencester, has teamed up with Lucia’s Café to launch a month-long search for cake recipes.
The search was launched on UK Older Person’s Day on Monday October 1 and will run until the end of October.
Amanda Hamer, director of Home Instead, said she was looking forward to seeing some new and unusual recipes.
It’s all about skill sharing since many older people might have some great recipes, but not written them down,” she said.
To submit a recipe for inclusion in the book call 01242 513 203 or drop it into Lucia’s Café, Dyer Street, Cirencester along with your name and contact details before Wednesday October 31.
As well as being printed in the book, the best recipe will win a £20 meal at Lucia’s Café.
