Walkers warned after new signs stolen in South Cerney

POLICE have urged walkers to keep to the law after eight new signs, which marked off a popular walking route as private, have been stolen.

The brand new 'Private Property' signs on land between the Cirencester Road, north of South Cerney, and Ashton Road near Siddington, were stolen between 12pm on September 20 and 9am on September 21.

Police have warned any disgruntled walkers who may have taken the signs that stealing is against the law.

Stealing against the law, surely not!
It's a good job we have the police to guide us, and when exactly is 12 pm? mid day?

Lake squatting is also a concern.
