A man from Tetbury has been arrested following a sexual assault on a girl in Beeches Green, Stroud, yesterday morning

A NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD man from Tetbury has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after a teenage girl was inappropriately touched in Stroud yesterday morning.

The arrest follows an incident yesterday morning in which a man approached a 16-year-old girl and her sister in Beeches Green at around 8.15am yesterday morning and touched her inappropriately over her clothes before walking off.

The Tetbury man was arrested at 9.20am this morning in connection with the incident and currently remains in police custody.
