11:00am Tuesday 18th September 2012 in News
VOLUNTEERS are needed to help a charity challenge stay on track.
Cotswold Care Hospice is staging Race the Train at Cleeve Hill, near Cheltenham, on Saturday October 13.
At the fundraising event, runners will take on a steam train in the 14-mile race from Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
Volunteers are needed to act as marshals along the route and would be needed on the Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.
Head of fundraising, Jennifer Green, said: “We are a small charity so we depend on volunteers to help us with events like this. “All the money we raise goes to caring and supporting people in Gloucestershire with life-limiting illnesses.”
