Bourton-on-the-Hill housing application causes controversy

AN APPLICATION to build a new house in Bourton-on-the-Hill near Moreton-on-the-Marsh has proved controversial.
Concerns around the size and dominance of the site to the rear of Hillcrest Bungalow were raised at last week’s meeting of Cotswold District Council ’s planning committee.
The application has been deferred while members of the committee carry out a site visit.
