A NATIONAL appeal has been made to trace a Worksop man who has been missing for almost a fortnight.
Steven Robert Thomas, 53, was reported missing by relatives on Monday August 27 who were concerned about his state of mind following two recent bereavements.
He is believed to be travelling in a silver Nissan Almera, registration number MK03 SCX. The vehicle was seen on camera in Blind Lane, Chester-le-Street, County Durham, near junction 63 of the A1 (M) at around 1.30pm on Tuesday August 28, but there have been no confirmed sightings of Mr Thomas or the car since.
Mr Thomas is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of large build and with very short, receding hair and wears glasses.
It is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101. The Nottinghamshire police incident number is 682 of August 27.
