A THRILL-SEEKING Cotswolds entrepreneur is set to plunge down the side of Europe’s tallest building next week.

Jeremy Paxton, former water skiing international champion and owner of Lower Mill Estate in Cotswold Water Park, will be abseiling down The Shard in London on Monday September 3 to raise money for the Commando Spirit Appeal, a fund helping Royal Marines and their families.

He will be joining 30 other intrepid fundraisers including Duke of York Prince Andrew and Ffion Hague, wife of foreign secretary William Hague in absailing 250 meters down the 310-metre skyscraper.

Jeremy said he was honoured to be asked to take part in the event.

“I am delighted to be able to contribute in some small way to helping our royal marines and to recognise what a sterling job they do for our nation,” he said.

“Plus, of course, jumping off Europe’s tallest building is great fun.”
