A MAN was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash near Long Newton on Friday afternoon.
A Silver Ford Fiesta and a Yamaha motorcycle crashed on the B4014 at around 4.50pm.
The motorcyclist, a 65-year-old man from Cheltenham, was airlifted to Bristol’s Frenchay Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 24-year-old woman from Wiltshire, was not hurt.
The road was closed for several hours while police conducted inquiries.
