A red Seat Ibiza and a black Volkswagen Golf, were seriously damaged in a crash on the A429

A MAN has been charged with drink-driving after a crash near Cotswold Airport on August 10.

Both cars, a red Seat Ibiza and a black Volkswagen Golf, were seriously damaged in the crash on the A429 at around 11.15pm but noone was hurt.

The driver of the Seat, a 31-year-old man from Malmesbury, gave a positive breath test at the scene and was taken to Cheltenham Police Station where he gave a second sample showing he was almost four times over the legal drink-drive limit.

He has been charged with drink driving and will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on September 12.
