Celebrate British Greatness at Kemble for plenty of bank holiday weekend fun
1:36pm Wednesday 8th August 2012 in News
WITH the Olympics keeping patriotism in the UK on a high, Cotswold Airport is making the final preparations for its inaugural Best of British Show event taking place on August Bank Holiday weekend.
Celebrating the most iconic of British culture, innovations, entertainment, food and drink, the Best of British Show takes place on August 26-27. It will combine the Best of British aviation, automotive, agriculture and music over the two days.
Cotswold Airport is offering discounted packages for its final few pitches to local traders and businesses to trade at the Best of British Show. An estimated 20,000 visitors are expected at the event, which also features arena events including a dog show, lamb racing, children's zoo and plenty more.
The theme is well-suited to companies or British-themed brands looking to promote locally-sourced products or services including food concessions, arts and crafts, clothing, memorabilia and innovation.
Suzannah Harvey, chief executive of Cotswold Airport, explains: “For the inaugural Best of British Show we wanted to attract the very best of local products and services to celebrate the vast quality of businesses in The Cotswolds." Plenty of businesses are already on board, taking space in the show's food and craft tents.
But there are a small number of spaces left.
