UPDATE: Crash between pedestrian and motorbike near Malmesbury

MALMESBURY bypass is expected to be closed for several hours after a serious crash between a pedestrian and a motorbike this morning.
Part of the A429 between the north and south roundbout by Malmesbury has been closed off following the crash, which took place at 8.25am.
A male motorcyclist has been taken by air ambulance to Frenchay Hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries.
Emergency services are at the scene and the road will be closed off for at least another two hours.
Drivers taking that route should expect delays.
