Farm shop in Cirencester scoops award for market produce

A FARM shop in Cirencester has been honoured at the Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards 2012.
The family-run Chesterton Farm Shop was awarded the Best Farmer’s Market Stallholder title at a ceremony with 450 guests at Cheltenham Racecourse on Monday, July 2. Edward Jenner said the family was delighted to win the award, which was one in a line of accolades they had received since opening.
"We're so pleased to have been praised for our market stall produce," he said, "because it's the first for this sort of category after two years on Cirencester Farmer's Market."
