Crime increases in Tetbury

CRIME rose in Tetbury over April and May.
There were 27 crimes recorded in the town from April 1 to May 31, compared with 20 in the same period 12 months previously.
There were eight recorded incidents of violence in the town, compared with six in the same period last year, along with two burglaries, an increase from one in the previous year.
Incidents of criminal damage also increased from four to seven, and fraud rose from no incidents to one.
Incidents of theft and drug-related crimes remained constant, with eight and one incidents respectively.
