Man needs stitches after Cirencester assault

A MAN needed 15 stitches in his face after an assault in Cirencester.
The 32-year-old from near Cirencester was attacked on Stepstairs Court on Watermoor Road at around 3.10pm last Thursday, June 28.
He was taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon for treatment to four cuts to his face.
A 29-year-old Cirencester man was arrested on suspicion of assault and causing grievous bodily harm.
He was bailed to return to Cheltenham Police Station on August 10.
