DOZENS of pairs of stolen shoes were seized in Cirencester after police raided a home in Springfield Road on Friday, June 15. Footwear including 31 pairs of Ugg boots, 17 pairs of Vans trainers and two pairs of Hunter wellington boots as well as a large quantity of children's clothing were found. A 62-year-old man from Cirencester has been bailed until August 3.
A CYCLIST in Cirencester has offered a £100 reward for information after his £5,000 mountain bike was stolen from a garden shed in Berkeley Road. The white Transition TR450 bike was taken between 8.30pm on Wednesday, June 20 and 10.10am on Friday, June 22. The bike has black handlebars, black forks with red details and red wheels and pedals.
COPPER wiring worth £3,000 was stolen from a building site at the former Arkenside Hotel development in Lewis Lane, Cirencester, between June 22-25.
A CD PLAYER was stolen from a car in Cirencester overnight between Saturday, June 22 and the following day. The Sony CD player with USB port was taken from a Mazda MX5 parked in The Avenue.
