Batteries stolen from trucks in South Cerney

THIEVES stole more than 30 vehicle batteries from trucks parked in South Cerney two weeks ago.

Thirty-two batteries were stolen from the commercial trucks parked at the business on Broadway Lane after thieves forced entry to the site between 6pm on Wednesday May 30 and 5.50am on Thursday May 31.

Officers investigating the thefts are eager to hear from anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the area at the time.

Anyone with any information can call Gloucestershire police on 101, quoting incident number 41 of May 31.
