HAY bales caught fire in a field between Avening and Nailsworth this morning.
Eight firefighters from Nailsworth were called to the fire at around 10.25am and used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and dragging forks to put out the flames.
The crews were at the scene for around two hours.
