HRH The Prince of Wales was all smiles when he visited Fairford this weekend for a Music in Country Churches Concert.

The charitable trust’s patron, Prince Charles, joked with the crowd when he greeted brownies and naval cadets at the entrance to St Mary’s Church on Saturday, May 26.

Fairford Mayor Cllr Rob Winney, who welcomed The Prince of Wales, said: “He spent a lot of time speaking with the youngsters before he went in and he seemed to enjoy the concert. It was a very pleasant occasion."
