Urgent appeal for jubilee marshals in Cirencester
12:38pm Monday 28th May 2012 in News By Andrea Glennon
AN URGENT appeal has been made for volunteers to marshal the jubilee celebrations in Cirencester.
Cirencester Sparkles, the team behind the free community event planned for Bank Holiday Monday, June 4, has appealed to readers to help them man the five entry points into the Abbey Grounds where a feast of fun takes place.
Two stewards are needed at a time for each entrance and volunteers would complete two hour stints throughout the day between 12noon and 11pm.
Essential training will be given this week during two sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday evening at 7pm at the Bingham Gallery and Conference Suite in Dyer Street.
