Entry forms for Cirencester Hospital Baby Show available in Standard
4:50pm Sunday 27th May 2012 in News By Andrea Glennon
ORGANISERS of next month's Cirencester Hospital fete and baby show are hoping for a bumper crowd to help fund new equipment for the wards.
Cirencester Hospital League of Friends annual fete and baby show takes place on Saturday, June 9, from 2pm in the grounds of the hospital.
This year, money raised form the event will go towards a £7,500 appeal to buy six intravenous infusion pumps.
The league hopes to build on last year’s success when the event pulled in enough funds to help convert seven bathrooms in Coln Ward into wetrooms.
It is hoped money raised at next month’s fete through activities and stalls selling various items will pay for the six pumps that would be used in all three wards of the hospital.
The baby show is being sponsored by UK Specialist Hospitals and is divided into four age categories; up to four months; five to eight months; nine to 12months and 13 to 18months.
Babies can be booked in from 1.45pm and entry costs £3 per which includes a free photograph.
The coupon in this week's Standard should be filled in and brought along to the fete on the day.
