Cirencester pensioner injured in lamp post collision dies

A PENSIONER from Cirencester who was seriously injured in a car accident last Thurday has died.

He died in hospital after a collision in Sandy Lane in Charlton Kings last Thursday, May 17.

The single vehicle collision happened at about 5.30pm on Thursday May 17.

A grey BMW driven by a 73-year-old Cirencester man collided with a lamp post.

The man was taken to Cheltenham General Hospital in a serious condition and died there on Saturday, May 19.

Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not spoken to police should call 101, quoting incident 316 of May 17.
