PARKING prices in Cirencester are to be temporarily slashed for visitors travelling to the town for next week’s Olympic torch relay.
Parking in any of the town’s car parks will cost just £1.30 – the usual cost for one hours parking – for up to five hours from 1pm to 6pm on Wednesday May 23.
All of the car parks across the Cotswolds will also be free to use from 8am on Monday June 4 until 8am the following day, including overnight parking in Cirencester's Brewery Car Park, so visitors can make the most of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
