More bad weather on its way

FLOOD-HIT communities across the Cotswolds are bracing themselves for another bout of bad weather.

The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the Midlands, the South East and South West of England and South Wales for Thursday (May 10).

Motorists are warned driving conditions may be hazardous and minor delays are possible.

Outdoor events may be disrupted or cancelled, and some localised flooding is possible.

The Environment Agency has also issued a flood alert for the Upper River Avon, including Malmesbury.

Residents are warned that flooding is possible and are urged to be prepared.
