Yummy pictures could win prizes at Lechlade festival

YOUNG artists have the chance to win a prize at this weekend’s food and drink festival in Lechlade.

Festival organisers Fairford and Lechlade Business Club are hosting a picture competition and there is still time to create an entry.

The picture must be to do with food and drink and on A4 paper but the rest is up to the imagination, so everything from drawings and paintings to collages and more will be accepted.

All school children wishing to enter the competition should bring their pictures to the FLBC’s stand at the Market Place festival this Sunday between 10am and 4pm.

FLBC’s favourite pictures will be selected to feature in the Lechlade charity shop’s window display and prizes will be given.

The Fairford and Lechlade Food and Drink Festival takes place at Lechlade Market Place on Sunday, May 6 and at Fairford Market Place on Sunday, June 3.
