Man assaulted in The Rock nightclub

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in The Rock nightclub, Cirencester, on Sunday morning.

The 26-year-old Cheltenham man was dancing in the nightclub on Bishops Walk, Cricklade Street, when he was approached by a man, who then assaulted him.

The victim visited hospital the next day, where he was treated for fractures to his face.

The offender is described as white, between 25 and 30-years-old.

He had blonde hair and was wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 117 of May 1.
