TOMORROW is your last chance to nominate your customer service for the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce’s Buisness Awards.

Last year’s awards proved a massive hit with both businesses and shoppers alike and culminated in a ceremony at the Royal Agricultural College (RAC) in May when nine accolades were handed out.

Readers are being encouraged to get involved as the Standard once again sponsors the Customer Service Award which proved hugely popular last year when the awards were launched.

It is the only award that is decided by public vote with the other nine categories being chosen by a panel of judges.

Categories include Business of the Year for companies with more than 25 staff; Business of the Year for those with less than 25 staff; Business Person of the Year; Team of the Year; PR & Marketing Campaign of the Year; Hospitality & Business Tourism Provider of the Year; Sustainable Business of the Year; Innovation of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

The winners will be revealed at a special awards ceremony at the Royal Agricultural College in May.

CCOC secretary Karen Gainsford said the chamber was delighted to have received so many entries in the first year of the awards.

She added: "Cirencester has a vibrant and exciting business community, offering an incredibly wide range of products and services to not just the town but the whole country and beyond.

"Following the great success of the first business awards last year, we are delighted to let readers know that plans are underway for the 2012 event.

"The awards are an opportunity to celebrate all that is great about the business community in Cirencester, and cannot happen without its support."

Nominations should be dropped into the Standard at 74 Dyer Street, Cirencester, to arrive no later than March 31, or email andrea.glennon@gwent-wales.co.uk
