CRICKLADE Leisure Centre is having a big party this weekend to celebrate five years of community achievement.
The facility was saved from the brink of closure after a local campaign group fought to take over the running of it in April 2007.
Five years on and still going strong, the centre team is throwing a party to celebrate.
On Saturday night, the party gets started at 8pm with an evening of live music, featuring local band The Suspicions, along with nibbles, bar refreshments and a raffle.
Then on Sunday, from 10am to 4pm the centre is hosting a taster day where visitors can try out as many fitness sessions as they can handle.
Activities include five-a-side football, Zumba, climbing wall sessions and swimming pool fitness classes.
Both event days cost £5 entry and refreshments are available. For more details visit crickladeleisure.co.uk or call 01793 750011.
