PANICKED drivers called the fire service after a lorry caught on fire on the A417 near Cirencester earlier today.
Gloucestershire fire service received around 20 calls to the lorry on fire at the Burford Road junction on the A417 road to Cirencester at around 3.50pm today.
The lorry was severely damaged in the blaze that was tackled by crews from Cirencester and Gloucester.
A total of 15 firefighters and three fire engines attended the scene for one hour and 20 minutes.
