MOTORISTS in the Cotswolds could see their old bangers crushed beneath two monster trucks in front of a baying crowd.

Organisers of the Cotswold Show is looking for donations of old cars for one of its main arena attractions this summer.

Big Pete and the Grim Reaper are the biggest monster trucks in Europe and have been one of the biggest crowd pleasers for the past few years.

Show director Claudia Wilson believes this year's show, on the Saturday, June 30 and the following day, will be no different.

She added: "We’re looking for as many old cars as we can find. We’re happy to collect them within the county of Gloucestershire and will give away two adult tickets to the show for every car that’s donated".

Weighing in at 7.5 tons and standing 15ft tall by 18ft long Big Pete and the Grim Reaper will be crushing everything in their path.
